#40 "please wait, queries sending" sometimes appears too late

On some installs (i.e., my development version) the
message to wait for queris to be sent does not appear
until AFTER the queries have been sent (it comes along
with the OK dialog). This would be confusing for the
user if it also occurs in a release installer.
