Hi Toby,

I'm just following up on the bug you entered back in December.  I'm not
sure how the tracker is supposed to work, but I would've figured that I
would get an email that something was there.  Apparently I didn't, so I
only accidentally noticed that you'd filed it.

I was wondering if you were still seeing the problem, and if so, you
might provide some more information.  I'd like to see your code (if
possible) and know what version you're using.

I'm very curious what's going on there, because I haven't seen that
error in normal usage, and I thought I had tests for these sorts of
things, but apparently not.  I can't use the code in CVS HEAD to
duplicate it because there's been some changes and 868 doesn't have a
call to substring anymore.

Again, apologies for not following up with you about this sooner. 
Please direct any support requests to the mailing list, and then at
least I'm guaranteed to see them. :)
