A new version of tcshrc is available now.
It includes fixes from reports to the SF tracker
and several other misc updates.
The repository has now moved to
http://github.com/simos/tcshrc/
Feel free to contribute/comment.
- Includes new prompt (inspired by O'Reilly book, thanks to contributor)
- Can now use ~/.tcshrc.local to keep local changes through tcshrc releases (can use old prompt through this one!)
- Removed some buggy completions
- .tar.gz and .rpm packages are available.
CVS access is available. If you would like to
add completions/bindkey settings, now you can do so.
Click on the project page and follow the CVS link.
Changes include accumulated user submissions (THANKS to all!), update complete.tcsh, 'make install' works ok, bindkey for FreeBSD (Please check if OS/X, other *BSD, Windows?? require new bindkey options), the terminal bar shows current directory succesfully and more.
The installation procedure allows easy
system-wide or personal installation.

Highlights in this version is the new documentation formats (now using DocBook) such as PDF/DVI/HTML and fixed F1 to F5 keys.
Version .5 was meant to come out on Dec8 but was delayed due to the upload.sourceforge.net downtime. Thus, the actual release date is Jan08 2001.
