Thank you very much for this, Maurizio;
unfortunately tcpick doesn't seem to work right due to some segmentation failures (if you let tcpick on a high-traffic network interface it will happen in a few minutes). I have tried several times to understand what is going on by debugging it with gdb. 
I am trying to find somebody to help me, but obviously people don't like debugging.

I think it is a very good idea! And it is a good idea if they stay "unofficial" too, at the moment :)
