#76 Multibyte Awareness

Hello, I noticed tcpdf is not mbstring.func_overload aware. So I applied a few small changes here and there to fix a few issues. This patch is by no means meant to be a comprehensive mb-awareness-enabler. Though it fixes all the issues I had.

Love tcpdf, thanks a lot for it!
