Has anyone been able to use the WOFF format or WOFF2 format for fonts in the PDF ? Will they be supported in the near future ?
I read through the official documentations and the currently supported formats are :-
-TrueTypeUnicode (UTF-8 Unicode)
-OpenTypeUnicode
-TrueType
-OpenType
-Type1
-CID-0 and Core (standard) fonts
Since W3C has created the WOFF specification and it is gaining recognition, it will be very helpful if we can use such fonts in the PDF.
Moreover Google Fonts is utilizing this packaging format for fonts, which is being utilized extensively.
any comments regarding this matter will be very helpful since i am required to use such fonts. Thanks !
