I have attached the discussion , please see if this qualifies as a bug.It will help in correct rendering of various types of fonts where the Ascender and Descender values are significant.

The solution can be different than what i proposed. depending upon the architecture of the code.

Font ascent and descent values are already claculated by TCPDF, be sure you are using the latest version.
