As an indicator of the network performance, counts for packet loss shall be added into the statistics.
The counts for packet loss should be increased when the value of the sequence counter of received PD packet is greater than that of the previous received PD packet by 2 or more, which means that loss of the packets occur.
The counts for packet loss is helpful for application.
