The vos functions vos_select and vos_semaTake blocks TimeSync is used with a timeout. Change in the vos funciton to a polling approach with vos_threadDelay.
Preparable is to change to code using this functions to poll. Then a suitable polling time can be selected for each purpose, now a default time is used always.
