[Tclxml-users] problems configuring the newest tclxml

When I attempt to configure the tclxml/expat directory, I get this
error:

checking for Tclxml configuration... configure: WARNING: "Cannot find Tclxml configuration definitions"

This is _after_ having installed the tclxml tcl and tclxml C code.

Did you use exactly the same configure command that you
used for the generic layer installation?

I have found that one needs to specify *both* the --prefix
and --exec_prefix options to get it all to work properly.
Don't know why exactly, and Andreas has gone on holidays
so we can't ask him until January.

I don't know either. I believe this is somehow embedded in the
configure macros Jeff created for TEA 2.
