but backward compatibility already lost, as we do not support Tcl/Tk-800,
and I think such code with 'tkwait' probably was used only in those days.
(I hope someday Tcl/Tk-800 support will be back, but this is really low
priority)

I think those should not be exported in misc as well.
:misc tag probably should also go away, both in implementation and
documentation?
