[Tcltextedit-users] tkTextInsert ??

I am running Slackware 9.1 (kernel v 2.4.22)
I have tried with multiple versions of TCLTextEdit but
every time I try to type into the text box, I get a:
invalid command name "tkTextInsert" !   As I have
tried with multiple versions of the application I know
it is not the applications fault (maybe?) I have
installed all of Slackware's TCL/TK  and still haven't
been able to fix the problem.  Can anyone offer advice
on this?
