Hello, Good question, I think that something was different on the Linux box that I used when I made the latest version of tcltextedit. i.e. the font looked allright on my computer, but I have also noticed the problem you've seen. I will fix it when I get the time. Meanwhile it would be nice if you submit this as a bug to the bugtracking system, as a reminder for me :-).
