#7 spicewish gives error: alloc invalid block

I installed tclspice on a Debian OS (Xandros home
edition) on a DELL Inspiron 1100 (Celeron)

After installation, on running "spicewish", I get the
following error:
alloc: invalid block: 0x81c62c8: 0 0 8

Aborted

I am not a configure/make expert. I used the following
commands:
./configure --with-tcl=/usr/lib/tcl8.4
--enable-experimental --enable-xspice
make tcl
make install-tcl

The tclreadline version is 2.1.0 and TK version is 8.4

Thanks for the help.
