Did you try the version that came with the Linux install of the
Tcl Dev Kit (http://www.activestate.com/TclDevKit), where the
plugin is included as an unlicensed component, or did you try
and compile and install this on your own?  If the latter, try
the former.  Also, what version of Tcl did you compile against
(it has to be at least 8.4.2)?
