I'm doing some testing of the new plugin. I've found a problem with=20 entry-widget focus on Mozilla1.2.1 / Linux Mandrake 9.0 (as Jeff said the= re=20 might be in his mail). If you go to the tclet at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/whiteowl/tclweb/169-tcl.html you'll see that there are various entrybox widgets. You should be able to= type=20 into these (as you can with the old plugin) but it doesn't seem possible = to=20 get focus into them with the new one. I have also tried this with=20 Netscape4.78 and that has the same problem. Okay, I've just done some more experimenting. It is possible to get focus= into=20 the entry widgets as follows: 1) place the cursor in one of the entryboxes and single-click - note that= =20 nothing seems to have happened 2) move the mouse and click in a shell window - note that focus is not en= ough=20 - you have to click 3) press <enter> or some keystroke in the shell 4) return the mouse to the tclet and voila - focus is as you'd expect it = and=20 it seems to behave properly until the page is reloaded. This method works for both the above browsers but is probably a bit cumbe= rsome=20 for users! Simon Geard |
