Bug using the Browser Plugin with Opera 9.00 on Linux

Opera never forwards keyboard events to the Tclet -
even if the Tclet has been clicked and the mouse
pointer remains over the Tclet area. This is a bug
with Opera 9.00 only on Linux - not for the Windows
version. Examples of Tclets that exhibit the bug:
http://www.tcl.tk/software/plugin/tetris.html
http://www.tcl.tk/software/plugin/eval.html
My configuration:
Opera 9.00
Qt 3.3.4
X11 Xorg 6.8.2-37.FC4.49.2.1
glibc 2.3.6-3
Linux kernel 2.6.16-1.2108_FC4.i686
Fedora Core 4

Also - not really a bug but an annoyance (in both
Windows and Linux) - when the user clicks on a Tclet,
Opera gives the Tclet mouse focus, but it does not send
it that first click.

FOR INFORMATION ONLY: Opera 9.00 for Windows

Unlike Opera 9.00 for Linux, Opera 9.00 for Windows
does not detect and use Firefox's NPAPI plugins. They
must be manually copied, and Opera must be restarted.

Both nptcl31.dll and the nptcl folder must be copied to
Opera's plugins directory. The first alone is
insufficient.

Operation is flawless. Keyboard events are correctly
forwarded to the Tclet.

My configuration: Windows XP Home SP 2, fully up to
date (2006-06-24).

I believe the keyboard issue is a dup of 690051

    Jeff,

I expect you are right, but the workaround given for 690051
does not work for me. However, a combination of minimising
Opera, typing in another window, then restoring Opera,
usually makes it work. Usually, but not always.

    Keith.
