No, there is no RC yet.
Only the branch there I will be working on making that RC.
No timing yet for when I will be done.
If want a specific ticket in the RC and release please bring it
directly to my attention.
Note, this is __not_ a promise that things brought to my attentation
will go in. Only that anything not brought to my attention is at the
mercy of me finding it on my own.
Further notes
* Tickets with attached patches have a higher probability of
getting in.
* Tickets whose patches have test cases will have even better
chances.
If you are doing something in a branch you wish to have in the release
please directly coordinate with me.
Right now I am running the test suites against
8.4.20
8.5.19
8.6.8
and 8.7a2
While that happens I am reviewing the changes accumulated since the
last release to determine whether the version numbers are all right or
not.
I may poke maintainers of modules in case of trouble.
