Once upon a time, being able to get packages one at a time was a win, I think, and it still is. However, I think these days the tolerance for a relatively large standard library is higher than it once was, and it would be a good thing to have a nativetcllib or ctcllib or whatever as a central place where QA'd, documented packages that can run cross platform (where applicable) can have a central place to live. I wouldn't add anything too huge or obscure, but that's really a judgement call situation rather than something where you can make hard and fast rules. -- David N.
