           Looking at the R source subdirectory src/library/tcltk/exec exposed a
           few typos.

           Would the library devs consider to implement these GNU sed commands to
           fix them?

           $ cat typos.sh  #!/bin/sh

           sed -i "s/Specifis/Specifies/g" library/hierarchy.tcl  sed -i
           "s/forknowledge/foreknowledge/g" library/hierarchy.tcl  sed -i
           "s/hierachical/hierarchical/g" library/hierarchy.tcl  sed -i
           "s/hierachy/hierarchy/g" library/hierarchy.tcl  sed -i "s/ie /i.e. /g"
           library/hierarchy.tcl  sed -i "s/occured/occurred/g"
           library/hierarchy.tcl  $

           In addition to the above fixes - which are likewise in the patch -
           here's another fix.

           $ sed -i "s/unkown/unknown/g" library/hierarchy.tcl  $
  login:   anonymous
