[Tcllib-devel] Deprecate exif ?!

Aaron Faupell asks me to deprecate the module and package 'exif', as being a 
subset of the functionality available through his module and package 'jpeg'.

Deprecation would mean (for the moment (*)) that 'exif' would get 'Exclude' 
status in the installer. I.e. the module would still be part of the code base, 
but not installed by default. It could still be installed by explicit request, 
i.e. providing the option '+excluded' to installer.tcl on its command line.

If anybody has objections to this change please register them within a week. 
Without any such the deprecation of 'exif' will happen in the evening if Tue 
Feb 5, 2009, PST (-0800).


(*) Complete removal from the installer or even code base is something we can 
think about later.
