#1033 pregistry version problem

Recently I encountered a problem with pregistry:

$ /vol/tclsrcsol/ActiveTcl/bin/tclsh8.5
% package require pregistry
conflicting versions provided for package "pregistry": 1.0, then 0.1

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the pregistry version number, but instead see the error.

It has been removed from activetcl's teapot repository, but AK recommended I report the version problem here so that could be fixed.
