It sounds like you want to put AWT widgets inside Tk widgets.
That it not currently possible. You can use AWT and Tk
toplevel windows in the same application, but not in
the same toplevel window. Tcl Blend is really only
focused on mixing Tcl and Java, not Tk and the AWT.
