Yes. To properly qualify that, yes if it compiles for you. The
catch is that every version of the JDK stored its lib files
in a different location. The lib files need to be found  by
the configure script before you can compile. It is a major
pain but there is nothing I can do about it. If things do
not compile "out of the box" with your version of the
JDK. you might need to edit the generated Makefile
just a bit so that it passed the proper -L arguments
to the linker.
