Hi,

Just noticed that in 1.2.6 [string is boolean/integer/etc] is not 
supported, is anyone working on that for 1.3, or do I have to make that my 
project? ;-) The code I want to port can't live without it!

The CVS version of Jacl includes a Tcl8.4 compatible string command
since August 2000:
: Revision 1.4 / Sun Aug 20 08:37:47 2000 UTC (17 months, 3 weeks ago) by mo 
: update string to 8.4 compatible impl, update some misc hex and double misc stuff too
