[tcljava-user] First use of Tcl Blend ???

First of all I want to say that I am a very new user of tcl blend.
I want to write tcl code that can interact with a java package.
So let's begin with the beginning, the installation.
I have downloaded tclBlend 1.2.6 for UNIX.
I work on a PC (OS Linux Debian 2.1), I have a Tcl8.0 and a JDK1.2 installed
on my PC. (really the JDK1.2 is not installed properly, I downloaded the
file.sh from internet and I executed all the installation instructions, but
I obtained errors during installation, I do not know why, do you have an
idea ?)

My question is how can I make all these packages run together, that means
can I write tcl scripts that interact with java objects by only having tcl
blend on my PC. (is there a specific installation to be done or a
compilation or other thing).
Please give me a detailed answer if possible.
Another question is: Can all the versions mentioned before run together ?
