[tcljava-user] problems with tclBlend

I am having difficulties getting the tclBlend examples to work properly on
the linux platform.  When I run the gridDemo example a
java.lang.IllegalMonitorStateException: current thread not owner is thrown.
Sometimes the exception is thrown immediately and sometimes after firing and
hiring employees (see example).  I'm using java1.2.2.  I get the error with
the following steps:

0) cd into unix directory
1) make shell
2) cd demos/gridDemo
3) source gridDemo.tcl
