Greetings, OK, I'm done fiddling with Tcl CGI scripts (under both Apache and IIS by the way) and now want to run the Tcl web server. I've already got ActiveState Tcl installed and like it as it comes with tcllib1.0. This however presents a problem. Apparently there is a line near the top of the source code for httpd.tcl that looks for tcllib version 0.7. Because it won't find that version, but rather a newer version, on my machine, I get the error: "Cannot find Standard Tcl Library in auto_path". I presume httpd.tcl looks for THIS version of the library because it won't work with previous versions. Anyways, I just hacked the source, removing the argument as to version, so that it just looks for plain old tcllib, which of course it finds now because I have version 1.0. I guess my question is, might my hack cause any other problems? And/or should I "formally" request on tclhttpd's SourceForge site that this be "corrected"? Thanks in advance George M.
