#7 Hang on EOF during read while waiting for dp_RPC

When waiting for a dp_RPC to complete if the channel reports EOF during a read operation, the sofware will mistakenly delete the wrong activation record and get stuck in an infinite loop. This patch changes silent closing of a channel that reports EOF on read to instead cancel any RPC requests waiting on that channel.

I have not yet had time to integrate it, but a patch for this problem was submitted by Christian Delbaere of Synopsys, a trusted source. Please see Trackers > Patches.
