My wife got an iMac for Christmas. I've downloaded & installed the
Tcl/Tk Aqua BI distro for Jaguar from sf. (Very slick installation
I copied a Tk app (single file .tcl) from my Linux box (and did a chmod
a+x). If I open a Terminal window, cd to ~/Desktop and run it, the
program launches fine.
If I double click on it from the desktop I get a dialog saying something
to the effect that the OS doesn't know how to run the file. If I select
an application (and I choose Applications / Utilities / Wish Shell) then
up comes Wish, and a console window, but the application is not run.
I've read the README, read the Macintosh pages on the Wiki, and google'd a
bit, but haven't found an answer (or, at least, if I did find it, I wasn't
smart enough to recognize it! :-) as to how to get my .tcl files launched
from the desktop.
Thanks in advance,
