I was looking at what other stuff Daniel might want to include in his
excellent README, and I was reminded of the MacTk FAQ, which was pretty
helpful back in the day, though it is old and more confusing than
helpful by now. I have often had folks tell me they wanted to help
with Tk, but weren't C coders, so couldn't fix bugs, etc... For
somebody so situated, reviving the FAQ for Mac OS X would be a really
excellent and useful project.
There is still a bunch of good stuff you can grab from the old FAQ.
The wiki page Daniel mentioned also has some good stuff. You could
troll the list archives for other suggestions. And, when I did this
before, I also asked folks on the list what clever things they had come
up with, or what hair-pulling misfeatures they had managed to work
around, and put the best of those in.
Anyway, just a thought...
