"upvar #0" != instance data that would immediately be improved by use of
[class]. At least in the uri, command line, and profiler modules, it
isn't or doesn't seem to be used to represent instance data.
At any rate, my protest was against the implication that tcllib is not
"good." I agreed that parts of it could be made better. I just don't
think it's necessary to malign the work that is there now. The library
already is "good"; Itcl can only make parts of it better. Ludicrous was
too strong a word, perhaps. Sorry.
