RFE 1723738 requests that we publish TclTransferResult (renamed
Tcl_TransferResult) in the stubs table.
Don Porter added the remark that "the implementation of
TclTransferResult is made up entirely of calls to Tcl's public
interface, so an extension already has all the pieces needed to
reproduce TclTransferResult for itself."
I do not see any problem with this, but wonder if such an addition to
the public api requires a TIP? Sure hope not ...
If there are no comments against this, I will go ahead and publish it 10
days or right before beta, whichever comes first.

To the public API? Yes. To the internal stubs table? No. (This is for
process reasons, not because of any fault in the suggestion.)
On the other hand, the record for getting a TIP through the process and
implemented currently stands at one week. Doing it in less would require
getting all current TCT members in a room or in a phone conference at
