First, I want to commend you on the work you did porting TclTk to the Aqua environment. Outstanding! I have just a few issues to report, some of which you may already be aware of: 1. When launching the Wish Shell from the unix command line, the application launches in the background. This is a nuisance only, but it would be nice to have it appear above all other windows. 2. The geometry command interprets 0,0 as the absolute top left corner of the screen, which puts the top of the new window beneath the Mac menu bar. 3. There doesn't seem to be a maxwindowsize check, so windows can exceed the size of the screen. I think that the standard TclTk implementation prevents this, but I may be wrong. 4. The "helptext" option on buttons works poorly. The text is unreadable and the buttons require multiple attempts to click before functioning properly. All in all, however, this is an excellent port. Kudos. Mike |
