Then ask that "someone else" to fix the bug. What "bugfix branch" has
the same problem?
Apparently, that bugfix branch is not merged to trunk, otherwise trunk
would show
the same problems. In that case, you could simply revert-merge that
bugfix branch
from the tka11y branch.
In any case, it's not nice towards other people to break the "trunk"
build, it should
be kept as stable as possible. Accidents happen, but any disturbance should
be as short-lived as possible. I'm sorry to bring you the bad news .....
