is the RC1 release candidate of the first alpha release of Tcl 9.1.

This is the second of a sequence of candidate releases leading to the release of
Tcl 9.1a0. Testing of builds and operations on multiple platforms is invited.  Open
tickets on any problems discovered, or raise the issue in a reply to this message.

It is intended that the RC1 release will become the Tcl 9.1a0 release on July 21,
unless some release-blocking flaw is discovered and reported.

Release notes are also available for review and correction.
