You may not consider Ashok's cleanup proposal to be a strategy or to have
an implementation, but that seems to contradict what he was saying earlier
in this thread.  My impressions just come from what I am reading here.  As
I said, I do not feel that I have enough Windows experience to judge.  And
I certainly could not (and would not try to) predict how long we would have
to wait for Ashok's implementation to be finished.

I do think we could quickly discuss and pass a TIP which was limited to
declaring the MPL license to be Tcl-compatible.
