Probably solving the "don't make things utterly trivial with basic tools every user has easy access to" problem. It's a fig leaf, but since the code has to be visible to the Tcl interpreter at runtime, it's hard to make it much apart from that. (Even saved bytecode doesn't stop the truly determined.) Donal.
