There was such a suggestion, but it has not happened so far. However comp.lang.tcl is still active and can be accessed on any Usenet server by using an NNTP client. But Google Groups was convenient because it avoided the complications of using an NNTP client. I have set up another web interface at https://cmacleod.me.uk/ng/comp.lang.tcl - this is rather crude but I am working (slowly) on improving it. The site supports all non-binary Usenet groups, not just comp.lang.tcl. Another alternative for web access is https://www.novabbs.com/devel/thread.php?group=comp.lang.tcl. Colin. |
