Hmmm.  I'm not familiar with these issues, but the descriptions sound
like feature enhancements (porting to new platforms, performance
improvements) rather than bug fixes.  Things that can wait for Tcl 8.4.

It's not unique to Tcl 8.3.2.  It's a core dump problem as far
back as I can test... to Tcl 7.5.

That's an interesting perspective.  Does that mean that TCT's job
is only to develop new software, and it's up to others to maintain
what they release?  Who are those others?  Do they know?

I'm not suggesting another Tcl 8.3 release next week.  But if we need
someone else to step forward to maintain Tcl 8.3.x, that should be
announced.  The bug reports for Tcl/Tk 8.3.2 should be forwarded to
someone who won't ignore them.
