Mats, et al... The intention was always that if you wanted to distribute an extension the same way on the Mac that you do on Unix, with separate files, etc, you could. The only difference is that /usr/lib <==> Startup Disk:Extensions:Tool Command Language. All the stuff things in the resource fork jazz was optional, a bonus for the Mac, not required.
