Wonderful!  Knowing JCW and Vince, I don't expect it to take long to see
these changes merged back into the source.  

Question: In the shared build, is it then possible to load dynamic 
libraries?

Also, and this is hopefully not too off topic, where does someone
with their first (albeit antique) powermac and no money begin
building a Mac that can compile Tcl/Tk, etc.?
