I see this as well, both in 8.3.4 and 8.4a4, so it's definitely a bug 
that still exists. I'll try to look into it.

Could you please report this as a bug on sourceforge: 
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=add&group_id=12997&atid=112997
and assign it to me (das)? please attach your test script.
