[TCLCORE] private font-files in tcltk

Hi all,
Is there a way in TCLTK to use fontfiles from a private directory?
Preferably a way in which one can refer to such files by an explicit
file-path.
It would, for example, be lovely to be able to create a font name
associated with such a file:

font create myfont -fontfile /mydir/myfont.ttf
