This dissent has been resolved meanwhile.  There's only
remaining discussion about implementation details.

The current version is indeed KISS but has potential to 
be enhanced later (with new handler pseudo-keywords) if
that turned out to be desireable and worth it, later.

The current solution goes quite short, but at least
right-tracked (unlike globbing).  It is good.
