Category: 65. Generic Window Operations Group: current: 8.5a4 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Carlos Tasada (ctasada) Assigned to: Jeffrey Hobbs (hobbs) Summary: Runtime error in Windows Initial Comment: I've just downloaded the last CVS version (8.5a4) and compiled it without problems using mingw32. Everything seems to work fine until I try to close the application, then I get a runtime error: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" Here is a script that reproduces the problem: wm title . "Test Script" wm protocol . WM_DELETE_WINDOW "exit" Looking a little bit through google I found a workaround: wm title . "Test Script" wm protocol . WM_DELETE_WINDOW "ExitProc" proc ExitProc {} { destroy . exit } Until now I was running the ActiveTcl 8.5 version without problems, so I imagine is something in my compilation or in the code. Cheers, Carlos. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Carlos Tasada (ctasada) Date: 2006-05-27 12:54 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=340696 Sorry Jeff, but I cannot provide any extra information. Anyway I cannot reproduce it either anymore ???? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Jeffrey Hobbs (hobbs) Date: 2006-05-26 23:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=72656 Is there no stack trace or anything that you can get from Windows? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112997&aid=1473475&group_id=12997 |
