OriginalBugID: 4137 Bug
Version: 8.2
SubmitDate: '2000-02-07'
LastModified: '2000-02-08'
Severity: MED
Status: Released
Submitter: techsupp
ChangedBy: hobbs
OS: Solaris
OSVersion: 2.6
Machine: Sparc 5
FixedDate: '2000-02-08'
FixedInVersion: 8.2.2
ClosedDate: '2000-10-25'

Name:
Mark E. Wilson

ReproducibleScript:
set tty [open /dev/ttyb r+]
fconfigure $tty -mode 9600,...

ObservedBehavior:
option -mode not recognized. Looks like protclsh82 does not recognize that ttyb is a serial port.

pop [~/cvs/tcl8.3] 51 % tclsh8.2
% info patchlevel
8.2.2
% set tty [open /dev/ttyb r+]
file3
% fconfigure $tty -mode 9600,n,8,1
% fconfigure $tty
-blocking 1 -buffering full -buffersize 4096 -encoding iso8859-1 -eofchar {{} {}} -translation {auto crlf} -mode 9600,n,8,1

This is on a Solaris 7 machine.
