ReproducibleScript:
Just trying to compile Tcl and Tk

./configure
Make
Make test
Make install

ObservedBehavior:
I am trying to install Tcl8.1 and Tk8.1.
I started installing tcl8.1 with the commands:
-./configure
- Make
- Make test
- Make install

then I do the same for Tk8.1 but when I test it ("Make test"), it gives
me:

Application initialization failed: syntax error in expression "[catch
{uplevel #0 [list source $tclfile]} msg] !=1"
Error in startup script: couldn't read file ";/../tests/all.tcl":
invalid
argument
*** Error code 1 (bus21)

This happens when testing the file "all.tcl" in the tests directory.
This error appears as well when I'm using the shared libraries.

Can someone help me pls?

Thank you very much

J. Rymasz

DesiredBehavior:
The test should pass without problem... and I should be able to use the
shared libraries.

This looks like there was an error in the test files. These
have been rewritten for 8.2+, so it is recommended that the
user upgrade and retest.
