Hi, A recent posting says that a Linux kernel can be direct-booted as of 2.6.35+. The kernel on a RHEL 6 box announces itself as only 2.6.32-220.4.2, but RedHat is known to backport certain features. It appears that as of RHEL 6.2 they began offering tboot as a package through yum. Might that all mean (he asked, hopefully) that it could be possible to direct boot a RHEL 6.2 kernel with tboot? Thanks, Chapman Flack |
