Incorrect Pairwise_5% overlap margins:
The 5% intra and inter margins reported in summary of
pairwise distribution obviously don't
match the distance distributions. refer to this example:
In TaxonDNA 0.9.4 pairwise summary, it reports
Overlap with 5% error margins on both ends: 4.33%
(from 1.66% to 5.99%, covering 47.07% of
intra and interspecific but intrageneric sequences)
so it means the upper boundary of highest 5% margin of
intra-Dist is 1.66% and lower
boundary of lowest 5% margin of inter-dist is 5.99%,
However, by refering to the distributions of distances,
the two values should be around
6.0% and 12.5%. Please refer to attached excel file
"Pair-wise_incorrect_5%_margins".
in this file: ND2_Pairwise_300 --- the summary
generated from TaxonDNA_0.9.4 (not the
extractor version), Pairwise_Sorted_Intra ---
intra-dist distribution ,
Pairwise_Sorted_Inter --- inter-dist distribution.
Please refer to the value colored in yellow for the
real 5% margins.

Yup. Guarav, I agree with you that when it says " from 1.66%
to 5.99%, covering 47.07% of intra and interspecific but
intrageneric sequences.", it probably means 1.66% is the
lower inter-distances 5% margin and 5.99% is the higher 5%
intra-distances margin. And i just got the opposite.
However, to me, it is very tricky that the 5% margin is
exactly 5.99%. The percentage of intra-distances below
6%(dist) is 3.4%. If the percentage of distances below 5.99%
is exactly 5%, wouldn't that mean 1.6% distances are exactly
6%? The same scenario occurs in another case too. Or else it
looks fine.
